Mobfest events provide a wonderful platform for traditional cultural performances by community elders. At Music Outback’s Mobfest Tanami held at Ti Tree school in the NT, community leaders have embraced the festival as a means of helping maintain their traditional culture and passing it down to their children and grandchildren. Music Outback and community elders alike strongly support remote schools working with local community to include traditional culture in school activities.
